“With a performance-based model, creators can focus on the content that’s resonating with their audience and helping them grow,” Meta declared last year after testing the feature.

After a successful launch in the US, Canada, Australia, and South Korea, "Ads on Reels" is expanding its reach, allowing content creators to monetize their work based on reel views.

According to Tech Cabal, Clegg had a conversation with them and he mentioned “Nigerian creators have global reach,” and creators will soon have “the ability to run ads in-stream and use other tools such as Instagram stars and gifts that are available to creators elsewhere in the world.”
